Practical tips before your ride
What to wear? Long, comfortable pants (avoid tight jeans), closed shoes, and a layer for the evening wind. We provide helmets.
Do I need experience? No. Our horses are calm and our guides adapt the pace to each rider. Complete beginners are welcome.
Can I gallop? Yes, if you have some experience and request it. We assess your level at the start of the ride.
What about children? From 6 years accompanied. Younger children can ride with a parent on the same horse.
The best time to book
September and October offer the most beautiful light and fewer crowds. But honestly, sunset in Essaouira is magical year-round. Book 24 to 48 hours in advance during high season.
