What To Pack For Horse Riding in Morocco
Shoes, layers, sun protection: the local checklist to ride comfortably in Essaouira year-round.
A horse ride in Essaouira takes ten minutes to prepare — if you have the right items. Here's what our guides recommend before every departure from Diabat.
Closed shoes required
Sneakers or boots with a small heel. No sandals, no flip-flops. Sand can be wet and cool.
Long pants & layers
Jeans or flexible trousers. Atlantic wind shifts fast: t-shirt + light jacket or windbreaker, even in summer.
Sun protection
SPF 50, sunglasses, cap under the helmet (we provide helmets). Sand reflection intensifies UV.
Phone & photos
Waterproof pouch recommended. Our guides know the best angles for sunset shots.
